mc pep squad! :D

After a hardcore three-hour try out, I got great results naman. :D I got in MC PEP SQUAD! Now I have to learn how to manage my time na. :| I wish I would still have time to go online and blog and be creative with my planner. :| :(

TRAINING SCHEDULE:

Monday: (supposedly NO classes) 8am-4pm. :|

Wednesday && Friday: 6-9pm after classes.

Saturday: 8am-12nn. ( for the cartwheels!)

Oh no. This was way harder than I thought. :| =)) But I have goals to reach.

GOAL: be able to do the cartwheel and backwalk by september. be a part of the mc team for wncaa. :| :D goal to high, I KNOW but i can do it. :> :D I HOPE. :S geez. ><

Being a ballerina, I have really graceful moving arms which I need to pump up with muscles to be able to do handstands. :| :( aww. I miss flying. :D =)) Whatever. Im happy. :D :">

a TWO day blog. Since yesterday, I was too pre occupied with the CWTS homework. :D

I successfully commuted to school again last thursday. On the jeepney inside UP campus, I saw Joylyn in GREEN! I wanted to go down but I was afraid to be late. :| :)) Might as well schedule stuff with the UPD people since Pam told me that they had this meeting place already. On my way to MC, I saw Ciara by the green bridge and we walked to school together. I was happily walking with my other friends and suddenly, the lady guard did not allow me to enter because I had an anklet?! I mean it has been with me for like forever and then she's aking me to take it off, take note she handed me scissors to cut it off. :( I had to make drama coz I really wanna remove it the proper way, oh well, I guess I'll have to find a way to remove it tonight. :>

History 101, FREAKING AWESOME. Talked about NoyNoy's proclamation. EW. I would have talked a lot if Gibo won, but whatever, there's nothing I can do anymore. CHAR! (the word of the day. autumn!) said Miss Janet.She is so funny and she talks too fast, i actually pity Tabitha and Sue. :| :) And oh yeah, another memorable line: "ang History, parang nagkwekwentuhan lang tayo niyan. Isipin niyo nalang pinagtsitsismisan natin si Andres Bonifacio." WIN! \:D/ I love her so much, she is so benta. :> Guys dont forget the homework okay? :D Im excited for the so-called field trip. and lastly, another line: "I DON'T GET MAD. I GET EVIL." rawr. >:)

Psych 101 was simply mind-cracking. I mean I am still in the state of getting used to this whole idea of college then suddenly we watch this film about psych with all these terms. My brain is not functioning well yet. Hang over of AUTUMN, i mean SUMMER. :"> So yeah. 5 pages of notes I dont even understand. :| =)) I need that colored book NOW. :D

E101, the bomb. So we were asked to say the origin of our name, the last book we have read, our advocacy and what other people dont know about us. :> Some that I can recall are: Ciara's (the perfume), Caira who was named after Cairo egypt. Mikki who was supposed to be Michael, Autumn who named after a season that starts with a letter A and more. I remember Ellen cried. Autumn and I wanted to just run to her and hug her. :"> PEOPLE, I talked to Ellen today, she is not as quiet as it seems. I swear, she's really cool to talk to, and she has a witty personality, its just that she's scared and just new here in Manila. Lets make her feel more comfortable okay? :D One thing I wontw forget in English class was the last part when our prof started going around saying our names. I mean, she's way better than us, she memorized our names in less than an hour. She's AMAZING. I dont know how she did that. O_O I am impressed. :">

FRIDAY. tgif as beiya said. :D I dont exactly thank God that its Friday, I mean i'll miss you guys and I just cant inject rthe fact that Monday is now consider ed a weekend for me. Do you get it? =))

So yeah, I came in civilian clothes today since 7:30 Pe class was my first subject, sucks I know, but it was fun though. Its great that we actually have dancers in our block, a big advantage to the whole cheerdance exhibition on September. I AM EXCITED OKAY. >:) So AUTUMN WAS LATE (okay matatawa na sya niyan.) She was like, May teacher na ba? I was like OO. Then she said. BRISK WALKING! >:) Benta. :> Sorry na. She's so funny kasi eh. :D Bea, Happy, Tanya and Clem were late too, but autumn is the benta one. :> I love her chucks. :| :) So yeah. Taebo, hiphop abs, aerobics, SEE YOU. :> =)) Futsal and Volleyball tryouts, plus MC PEP SQUAD try outs as well. whatever. :|

Breaktime, I wanted crepes. I wanted pizza. But I was controlling Autumn from eating. Well fine. I was tempting her. Autumn kept on telling us that she wants to see her mom na so.. I hope she's having a great time with her mom now. :D :">

Filipino was fun! There we realized that we had great actresses in our class! Ayin and Jula were the most BENTA. Jula. Omg, I csnt explain. I cant stop laughing. I love your acting. youre so sunget. =)) Many had cheesy skits and as always, I was partner's with Autumn. :> KATORSE. BINAY. AYALA. Oh yes. :> :">

Math. nothing so interesting except for the fact that we got books and we have a quiz soon. so whatever. Sorry na, I hate math e. =))

DEUXIEME JOUR.

I know that this is not a big deal for many, but for me it is. Today, I was able to commute to and fro MC by myself! Its an achievement for me and i'm so proud to say. My MakSci friends shall congratulate me for this. As I arrived at the LOWER LANAI (emphasis for autumn.) I saw Winona who was also waiting for her friends to arrive. She dragged me to the cafeteria where I also saw Nikki, Jula, Michelle, and Justine. Winona was ranting about her Banana Cake, you shall eat it NOW, oh yeah, and SHARE. Kidding. >:D< We compared MakSci and MariSci and the conversation went on til it was time for our first class: MC 101.

MC101. Im assuming it's Miriam College 101, A subject about the history, traditions and how Miriam changed its name from Maryknoll. No offense, its a vain subject ah. About the college, but I hope it will be AMAZING. I sat beside Justine and Autumn. Meanwhile, our teacher told us to get something from our bag that symbolizes us and why. So the routine went on. Here are some that I remember, (please dont pinch to death if i dont remember your symbol and if your not here. pardon my memory loss.) So Ciara brought her slippers because she was lakwatsera. Roanne brought her camera coz she loves pictures and she's a model. HELLYEAH! Clem brought her diary? Happy showed her wallet. Autumn, who volunteeresd to go first brought her cellphone, my seatmate brought her iTouch, OMG, will I ever forget SUE! She was like: Hi im SUE, I like listening to music. She brought her MP3 player. Many showed their notebooks slash journals slash planners and all. Winona brought a pencil. Bea, showed the BEST, a battery. :"> Someone brought her whole bag since she cant choose anything. I showed my planner. :"> Hey guys, I love our classrooms. I like walking and stepping on the platform! It makes me look superior whatever. I feel like a teacher already! :> Too bad, our teacher overtimed for like 30 minutes. No more break. :(( Autumn kept on telling me that she was hungry already, and so was I. :(( Autumn was like, filipino ang next subject, and then I scrunched up my face. =)) She doesn't know how much I love Filipino. Damn it, I miss Sir Borro. :(

So our next class was Filipino. Our teacher was Dr. Arceo. She's an author of numerous books, oh what a rockstar in blue! :> So like our MC101 teacher, she asked us to go front and make an introduction about us using a symbol. I was thinking of a thing and as always, i thought of a rainbow. NAGTALUMPATI AKO. >< I said: Magandang umaga Gng Arceo, mga kaklase, Ako si Christine Anne P. de Ubago na maari niyo ring tawaging Christine. Maihahalintulad ko ang aking sarili sa isang Bahaghari na isang hiwaga mula sa ating malawak na kalangitan. Bakit nga ba bahaghari. Ito ang aking napili sapagkat tulad nito, ako ay may makulay na personalidad. Sa oras man ng kagipitan at nasa gulong ng palad o nakahiga ka man sa kama na puno ng rosas at dyamante, tunay ka ngang maaliw sa mahikang hatid ng isang bahaghari, Para nga akong bata, isang musmos na natutuwa sa tuwing umuulan. Inaabangan ko na umaraw at makakita ng isang bahaghari at matutuwa na kaagad ako. Kaya aking mga kaibigan abangan niyo nalang ang MAGIC (faces back and giggles, sheila says: mahika) MAHIKA na maibabahagi ko sainyong lahat. Salamat. *applause* then our teacher suddenly says na im the official contestant sa talumpatian sa buwan ng wika. I was like OMGWTFAREYOUSURENOOOOO! I just smiled, so whatever. :| :( Im not ready. :)) Matatawa ako swear. So anyway, Autumn wanted to say, Hello, ako si Taglagas. =)))) BENTA!! =)) Then came Bea who said maihahambing ko ang aking sarili sa isang bituing isda. (ANO DAW!) Okay, Starfish yun. :> I remember Mikki's: Ako'y kabilugan ng buwan sa maalkiwalas na gabi. (nosebleed) Sorry Sheila. :(

LUNCH TIME HELLYEAH. Finally. Since Autumn went to petron, I went with Bea. Then we saw most of the CDE sexies at the tent. I started taking pictures and continued being HYPERIA. They were like, teen magingay ka. Sunod naman si GAGA. :> I remember standing up during Angelus. We are awesome people. :"> So we stayed there for like forever. I showed them my secret thingy. (you know it na guys. I wont donate) Suddenly, on my way back from the restroom, Mikki asked me if I had a boyfriend. They were talking about boyfriends already! Awesome. :"> I wish you all the best. wish me too. Sana he'd pop the question na diba? :D :"> Ay. :> LANDE. :> =))

MATH WAS comme ci comme ca. (so so in french) I dont know if I was amazed or scared or uplifted whatever. I mean she said that she was not gonna have a lesson when in fact her class was like 45% math stuff examples and all that, I need to review i swear. Pressure is on. 55% was sermon. Gah. we need an electric fan in that room. :| (you guys know why.) Nothing much to say about math class coz 98% it was her lang talking. :| Im scared. :| :( COLLEGE ALGEBRA, PLEASE BE KIND TO ME.

Autumn: Alam mo si Teen, ayaw daw niya ng Thin at ng steriotypical na Tin kaya naging Teen. Arte! Kasi Thin na daw sya ganun mo pa sabhin. dapat daw, TEEEEEEEEEEEEN. Arte!

Teen: Bakit si Patricia. tricia ginagamit niya, hndi PAT! (gets?) Natawa naman sila. Hey tricia im not offending ah, youre adorable. :">

CWTS was KULOG-y. Sue wanted to borrow my umbrella. :| Our teacher had this cleaveland cavaliers lanyard and i dont know why. :D =)) She's adorable though. I cant wait to make the collage. GUYS DONT FORGET OKAIIII!

Oh yeah, I have the sweetest, hyper-est, prettiest, and most adorable friend ever. AUTUMN! She didn't forget me. :"> She got me a doughnut on her way back. :> :"> :"> I mean UHH! that's so sweet talaga, she didn't foget me even if she didn't eat luch with me today. >:D< >:D<

On my way home, I met Pamela Gem Mesina! :"> I was at UP waiting for a jeepney. As I rode I was like. PAM! and the rest was chit chat, :"> UP DILIMAN FRIENDS! hope to see you guys too! ARRHNEO friends, may friendship bridge ang MC at Ateneo, meet sometime? I miss Maksci but srsly, Im lovin Miriam. :"> BYE! :">

PREMIER JOUR.
8th of June 2010, my first day. I woke up at 7:30 am going paranoid if I was really ready for school today for the fact that I failed to sleep well last night. I guess I slept at around 3:30 am already so my head was aching when I stood up. I wanted to build a good impression and to find great friends so I went 40 minutes earlier. (okay, I guess I was just too anxious-excited.) So since I was 40 minutes early, I sat at the lower lanai til it was 10 minutes before time.As I arrived at the lobby, people were either in uniform or civilian clothing. Some who were in uniforms wore really high heels, some were in boots! I mean I wanted to like approach them and say: "Dude, youre in school remember? Youre not in a fashion show." But then whatever, I dont think its that of a big deal. I was in normal leather shoes (like the ones that high school students wear but without socks) I have to say one thing: I MISS MAKSCI JUMPER UNIFORM. :( I miss tucking my blouse like endlessly. I miss lessening the contents of my pocket since my jumper would go slanty. I miss holding the straps of my jumper. I miss seeing gay and dude classmates plus the really childish ones. I miss MAKSCI. period. I have to MOVE ON. (whatever that meant) Girls were.. wait I mean as they call us, LADIES were in huge leather bags of different colors walking in poise, good thing I didn't choose to bring a backpack or people might think I'm bi or something because those in backpacks were the tomboys. (theyre really easy to identify, the way they walk, their hair and all that. this is in no way a form of discrimination whatsoever, im just trying to picture the scenario I was in.) Ladies were also in different hair colors, the colors that don't look normal to them. There was even this red headed girl. I suddenly remembered Ron from HP. SO on my way to my first class, I met my friends from the orientation seminar and I was too hyper to talk to them saying I had no sleep at all and they were laughing at me, I met new friends. (memorizing names was harder than i thought coz every I try to approach as much people as i can. trust me, i know youve experienced this too. i even get so shy to say, "umm, what's your name again?" because I totally forgot) I walked to the classroom with Nikka and Jula! :)

First Class: H101. History 101 at the air conditioned lecture room. Our teacher slash prof (wait saying the prof word gives me the college feel already) entered the room with bunch of papers and suddenly when she was already ready to introduce herself, some old-looking-dude in blue with brunette hair in a ponytail is telling us that were in the WRONG room. So irritating. I was already enjoying the aircon but whatever. so we transferred to this lecture room which was wayyyyy better that what we had. Some pretty girl sat beside me, her name is Inna, she was still in civilian clothes and she was amazed by my doodling so I promised her a drawing that I shall accomplish by the end of the day. Suddenly as I was listening to someone's conversation at my back, I heard a girl say: "Hi, I'm Autumn." I was like OMG. I HAVE TO BE FRIENDS WITH HER. The way she said her name easily built that connection between the both of us. So I faced her and introduced myself right away. I was so amazed by how adorable she looked like, by how talkative (like me) she was, the fact that she wore glasses and the way she actually delivered the electricity in me when she hugged me. Don't get me wrong. This is in no way LESBIAN, I just felt that we'd be really close friends and we share the same interests. I was so interested to talk to her when our teacher started the class already. She was miss Janet Riguindin (based on Fb, she's mutual friends with ate mecca and ate thea coz she used to teach @elbi) She's so hyper and fun. I guess i'm gonna enjoy my class with her!

We had introductions, some were shy, some were hyper like me. So our prof told asked for a volunteer on who to introduce first. (she told us to introduce by saying your name and two facts about you and a null one. our classmates had to identify which was the null one amongst the three things) I VOLUNTEERED TO GO FIRST. I did not want to waste the opportunity. So I said, Hi FRIENDS! *giggle* I'm Christine. I graduated at the Makati Science High School (proud. oh yes.) I'm a ballerina and I have ADHD. So Autumn was like.. I think its the ballerina thing. (so did that mean she thought that I had ADHD?! am I that hyper?) HAHA. So someone said it was the ADHD, finally! So I was able to sit na. There was this girl named Happy Angelica. The name happy runs in their family, so their names are Happy (insert second name here). How cool is that. O_O I have 3 Marikina Science classmates, some from the provinces, 2 Kers (koreans) named Sue and Tabitha. Theyre adorable! There were lots of people who know how to play the guitar, can play futsal and volleyball and some who are vocalists of their own bands. There was even a classmate of mine who was originallly from Boracay! WOW. Also I met Sheila, (its not SHEYYYYLA okaiii) a loyal kiddo of MC, she was there since Nursery! I wonder if she gets tired of entering MC all her life! So yeah, it was 10:30, we planned to eat somewhere. I went out of the room with Autumn and the rest was MAGIC. I felt like we've known each other for centuries, that was how confident I was while talking to her. We dragged our friends to Petron in Katipunan since it was crowded in the Cafeteria. (our cafeteria offers fruit shakes, frappes, crepes and a whole lot of stuffs. AWESOME.) As we entered chowking, 100% of the people there were in MC uniforms. Its like we owned the whole thing. :>

Second Class: Psych 101. with Mr. Motilla. He's kinda funny but he said he was strict so whatever. I guess I'll be able to enjoy his class. :> He loves graded recitation, "oh yes. so you know its bawal to like say parang like bale ehhh. " We're required to speak in straight English. :D Not of a big deal. I wonder why teachers or should I say Profs elaborate that we are only allowed to cut 3 times or else we'll get a mark of FAILURE DUE TO ABSENCE. I mean what if you get chicken pox or what if you get an injury like you unintentionally fall off the building and die! I mean that's harsh. Oh how I miss MakSci. :| And the bell RANG.

off to my next and last class for the day with autumn~ E 101 with Miss Billanes. Some girl at my back asked me if I was eager to join MC Pep Squad, honestly I still dont know. :| I wanna boost up my grades but at the same time I wanna get rid of my 7:30 am PE class. Im not yet ready for trainings up to 10pm. :| gah whatever. Hi Dana and her friend, and her cousin who's matakaw. (pardon my short term memory loss. sucks i know.) We'll dance okay? :D we shall win the cheering thing by the end of the semester.
Our teacher dismissed us 30 minutes early! :D I remember LA Lucky Star! :) (right blockmates. wow blockmates.)

So more or less that's how my first day went. :D It was A-AWESOME. It was a lot better than expected and I loved it so much. :D First day of being in an all girls school, being college, being sorta independent, and wearing leather shoes without socks, awesome. :"> Plus meeting Autumn is simply magical.

PS. I dont get why they have to check our bags everytime we enter and exit the building. Its not like we have bombs or something. :)) I get hyper everytime I have to scan my ID. walalang. Can't wait to make another blog on how my second day goes. :D

Oh yeah, I DO HAVE A BLOGSPOT account. I do have a planner. I do have a life. I totally forgot about those things since for the past few days, Ive been busy doing nothing. KIDDING. (okay that didn't make sense.) I was preoccupied with watching 90210 all day and going to and fro MC to fix my college requirements. BTW, school starts on tuesday and I don't feel like im excited or whatever. I mean, I get bored easily every time im there but I hope I'd be able to enjoy being surrounded by girls and only girls 4 days a week. So yeah, my GC course: BS Child & Development Education Major in Special Education. OH YES. Pre-school or special child teacher would be the journey I'm about to take. (well my mom wanted it so whatever. like it matters) I guess I would enjoy being forever-young with my course since Communication Arts is already overrated though that course is MC's specialty. For a very friendly and talkative person like me, I never had difficulties in earning friends but now, OHMY, I don't really enjoy spending time at school. So here's the scenario: I talk to some stranger in a very polite way. I say,
"Hello, Im Christine."
"Hi I'm . Course mo?"
"BS CDE. Ikaw?"
" School mo dati?"
"Makati Science."
"WOW GENIUS." sabay walk out.
How would I earn friends if they think i'm geeky or whatever. (knowing the fact that I wear glasses pa.) DAMN! But then I'm kind of excited naman to start school, there's MC Pep Squad Try Outs, if I get in then I get to lose my PE meaning no more 7am classes. Its like a varsity thing. I hope I get in. Then suddenly I am stunned to know that I am qualified to run for student council coz I got a 4.1 grade in the entrance exam. Should I? I mean for the experience? Though im scared because I hardly know anyone. They would always cluster with their schoolmates. :| But I managed to try to talk to people naman. :D Should I run? :| GAHH. I dont know. :> We'll see. Sayang yung offer. :>
We do have a uniform and so many rules and regulations. It feels like high school lang except that people look more sosyal here. The only thing I liked was the fact that they allow NAIL POLISH! >:D< I found it funny that someone asked if they are allowed to bring teargases or pepper spray for security purposes, i was like. WHAT THE HELL. MC does not allow wearing of socks, so no choice, I have to be in black flats. So whatever. I miss Maan. I miss RB. :( Lets bond? PLEASE?:D Maan and the other LB people, good luck. :D Katipunan People. SEE YOU. >:) Haha. :>
